You might know her from he's appearance season 19 of "Dancing with the Stars" or you may have recognized her from living alongside her bearded family members in the hit show "Duck Dynasty," but the Sadie Robertson we know and love has become so much more than just a co-star on a reality TV show. Sadie has become her own brand, in a sense, she runs her own clothing line, she speaks at huge events, she writes best selling books, and she even went on her own tour. She's only 19 and she's taking the world by storm. She stands up for what's right and she never compromises her beliefs for what the "norm" is, even when she's on a hit show such as "Dancing with the Stars." She's an incredible role model, for not only young teens, but any Christian man or woman. Here are a few reasons why there needs to be more people like her in the world today.

1. Her devotion to Christ

It's not often that you find young women in the spotlight who are so focused and passionate about Jesus, and that's a quality that makes Sadie so great, she's constantly encouraging women and men alike in their walk with the Lord.

"I think people use fame as an excuse to lose their faith. Faith is obviously my number one priority and I think you need to put God at the top of everything you do." -Sadie Robertson

2. Her positivity

Sadie is always reaching out to people, she is a light in this dark world. In a world where all that is ever broadcasted is bad news, Sadie keeps it cool and spreads joy into the lives of people. She's always speaking truth about real issues such as self confidence. Encouraging women to find their confidence in Christ. Listen here:

“Happiness is a choice—a choice to be joyful, no matter what the circumstance.”

3. Her fashion sense

Sadie has her own fashion line with Sherri Hill. She makes a point to stay modest while also looking cute! She makes sure she's always wearing things that don't show too much skin. It's refreshing to see girls in the spotlight who actually keep their clothes on. Keep it classy, Sadie!!

"I'm just going to be straight up honest with everything, I struggle with jealousy, and I struggle with comparing myself to other people...I'm just like any other girl. I look in the mirror and I pick out a flaw." -Sadie Robertson

4. Her dancing skills

Sadie killed it on "Dancing with the Stars." She should have won.But we're not bitter ;)

5. Her values

If you've done any catching up on your Sadie news, you know that she is living out her "Live Original" movement. "Live Original" seeks to teach people to be THEMSELVES and be ORIGINAL. She makes it a point to tell people to be themselves, and she knows that it's sometimes hard to do the right thing in the public eye, but she makes a point to stand up for Christ and stand up for the right values in her daily life.

“That is the way not to find self confidence — looking for confidence in yourself. If you try to find confidence in who you are, just as a human; on the outward appearance, what your job title is, what you look like, whatever it is — you’re not gonna find it. You have to find it in God.” -Sadie Robertson.

6. Her family is everything

Families can get messy. Sadie makes sure to keep family a priority and to always keep them as her foundation. They're whole family is centered around Christ, and that's what a true family unit is supposed to look like. Unified in Christ.

7. Her compassion

You might know that Sadie and her family take missions trips all the time to different countries. She shows so much compassion for the people there and the people all around the world. She shows compassion in the way she speaks and shares the Good News sirh complete strangers. We applaud you Sadie!

8. Her inspirational messages

Her Youtube channel is pure gold. End of story. Check it out!!

9. Her relatability

Sadie might be in the spotlight, but she's still like any other 19 year old girl. She goes through breakups and self doubt and hard times just like everyone else, and her outspokenness about it is just one of the many reasons why we need more of her in the world.

We love you Sadie!!!

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).

No matter how long your class is, there's always time for the mind to wander. Much like taking a shower or trying to fall asleep, sitting in a classroom can be a time when you get some of your best ideas. But, more than likely, you're probably just trying to mentally cope with listening to a boring lecturer drone on and on. Perhaps some of the following Aristotle-esque thoughts have popped into your head during class.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.
