There are 7.4 billion in the world and you are just one. Makes you feel pretty small, right? Why does the world need the one person who you are? There are so many people trying to get into the same career field, so what gives you your edge?
These are so of the many questions I ask myself as a graduating senior. I'm learning I'm not alone in these thoughts as well. I want to be successful, provide for my family, and be proud of a life I create. No one wants to look back on their deathbed wishing they had a better life. No, you want to look back and be proud and full of great memories.
Let me help ease your mind. There is only one "you" in this world. There is no one else out there exactly like you. NO ONE. Unless you have been cloned but I think that is still just in the movies. There might be people who have similar talents as you, but nothing exactly. The world needs more of you.
Being the only person in the world who is you, you have a huge responsibility. Never lessen yourself in this world. God didn't put you on this Earth to just hide your talents and never spread your ideas. Yeah, humans suck. They will take advantage of your kindness, steal your ideas, question your knowledge, step on you to better themselves, and some are just plain evil.
If you are a kind person keep being kind. There is so much pain in today's times there need to be more kind people. Your ideas and personality to help others will bring so much to anyone near you. Never hide it.
If you are great with speaking and motivating others never hide it. There are so many people that need to be motivated and need that direction in their life. Think of how the world would change if more people were motivated to accomplish their goals.
Never force yourself to be something you are not (cliche, I know, but true). If you don't like a trend, don't follow it. If everyone in your social circle is doing something that you don't agree with, don't follow along because some people think it's "cool". Be true to yourself. Today we need to cut out the fake, and need more true, genuine people.
The world needs more of you. The true you. The you who wants to help others and not just focus on what you can gain from others. The one who explains their ideas and shares their passions instead of sharing hate and calling people out while forcing your black and white ideas down everyone's throats. No one wants to be around a person like that.
The world needs you.
