7 Reasons 'The Office' Is The Best Show Ever, Fact

In This Article:

I consistently watch this show, occasionally multiple times in a row. I would recommend it to anyone.

1. It has romance, and plenty of it.

The love between Jim and Pam is quite obvious from the very beginning. Even though it takes them a while to get their timing right, I feel blessed to have been able to watch their love grow. You also have the Kelly and Ryan romance, and the Dwight and Angela romance, and the Andy and Erin romance. The list is basically endless.

2. It has sports references.

If that is your thing, then you will understand a good amount of the references that I don't.

3. Nobody actually understands what they are supposed to be doing.

You don't really see anyone doing their actual job and it's pretty relatable. I never actually understood what half of their jobs were.

4. Everyone is a relatable level of awkward.

None of us are able to reach a level of awkward that even come close to Michael Scott, though.

5. Jim Halpert.

I think we can all agree that he is attractive. Who doesn't melt a little when he gives the camera his side glances?

6. You can watch the whole show in three days if you really want to.

According to a Reddit user, the total runtime for the show is 4,376 minutes, or a little over 72 hours. There are nine seasons, which means it's perfect to binge watch and it won't go by too quickly.

7. They throw the best parties.

In the first few seasons, pretty much all they do is throw parties. I've learned that all you need is cake, streamers, balloons, and alcohol. And apparently orange is not an acceptable color.
