The littlest moments of your life, no matter how silly they may be or insignificant they feel, they are just as important as the biggest moments. These moments are the ones that matter the most to me. The ones that I forget to post about on social media, the ones that I love to dwell on for years because of how amazing they were. The little moments in your life are worth remembering because they led up the biggest ones. They helped to shape your life in the best way possible without you even noticing it. They work their magic and make it happen. I believe that the little things in life are what make your life brighter. They are the ones that even on the darkest of times or days can make you feel a little bit better. Learning how to appreciate them is so important. Never underestimate the power of a small moment to change your entire feeling about your day or even your life. Take time to reflect on your day and find one good thing about it and thrive on that one good thing. Take the time to appreciate how that one little moment made you smile for even a second, it took your mind off of something bigger that was bothering you that may seem so silly now. If it matters to you then it is worth holding on to. For me, I find my little moments in the way my clothes now actually fit me better, the certain lyric in a song that makes me smile, the old pictures that still put a smile on my face. The moments that I remember so randomly that immediately make me feel better. They help me to remember how good my life is and how some things are not worth worrying about. Each moment of my life, no matter how small, has gotten me to where I am now. I am so grateful for those little moments because they led to the bigger picture of my happiness. I found myself in those little moments of my life, I have had a lot of darkness in my life over the years but the little moments are what made me keep going even when I ready to give up. I am glad that I listened to those moments and let them work their magic, it is what has kept me here and thriving! Keep a look out for those little moments because they just might change your life.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
