All my life, I always wanted to be the girl who could change people's lives. Someone who could turn someone bad into good. Having this mentality, I always searched for the bad boys when it came to relationships. And then, I tried to change them.
Something about undertaking the daunting task of changing a guy who was rough around the edges into the guy that had all his ducks in a row seemed like the perfect challenge to me. It wasn't until recently that I realized that people only change when they want to. You can try as much and as long as you want, but a person can only change if they are willing.
For anyone who may be looking for that "bad boy," save yourself the time and effort. He may seem like he will change and he might for a little bit. But he'll always be the same. Never go for the fixer-upper, cause in the end, it is your heart that will need fixing.
