There just something about it

As my second spring semester is in full swing, I am convinced that fall semester is completely better. Everything feels way harder and struggles seem more intense. As I’m just trying to get through it, I thought to add some humor to the turmoil of spring semester was the best choice. Here is why spring semester sucks!

Classes are definitely harder.

It might be just in your head, but you’re pretty sure the school purposely makes spring classes harder.

You’re more homesick than normal.

Although you did just get a month long break for Christmas, it just isn’t the same as being home for summer break.

The weather seems to get better and worse all at the same time.

Here in Wyoming, we had a five-day period of summer weather and then a blizzard hit us!

Your tolerance for small, petty things (or anything in general) has pretty much disappeared.

Everything about anything starts to annoy you.

There are no holidays to break up the time.

Except for spring break, many colleges don’t have any holidays during the spring, which is the worst!

Money is quickly running out.

The money you saved up from the summer was spent all during the fall semester and now you’re struggling to buy even the simplest things.

Your Netflix options are running low.

Last semester was spent catching up on everything you needed to, now you’re desperate to find a new show.

You have to start planning for the far away future.

Whether it’s looking for classes, figuring out where you’ll live the next year, or finding a job, there is so much to plan for.

You know you have to do at least a few more times.

There is no getting away from it, so best just embrace it!

Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. Ever heard of “pain is temporary, but GPA is forever?” Pre-meds don’t just embody that motto; we live and breathe it. Here are 10 symptoms you’re down with the pre-med student syndrome.
