With spring break being just around the corner, there is a lot to look forward to. Here's Why:

1. It came right in time to save you from slipping even further into your mental breakdown.

If you can’t say spring break came just in time to rescue you from losing your mind, then honestly kudos to you. For most people, however, break saves us from that time of the semester where you seem to lose control of all school work and responsibilities.

2. You were in desperate need of a tan.

Throughout the winter, we all face the loss of that glowing tan we worked so hard over the summer to get. Spring break came to fix that problem! A fresh tan works wonders.

3. More ratchet memories to be added to the list

There are only so many exceptions to being ratchet with your friends and spring break is high up on that list.

4. The spring break squad

There's always that group of strangers you meet on break that become your best friends for a week. You might not even remember their names by the end, but you know they were pretty epic.

5. Summer tease

Spring break is filled with sun, fun, friends, and zero responsibilities, giving us a little taste of summer. It’s always fun being given a reminder as to why pushing through the rest of the semester is well worth it.

Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
