When you have been given a sister, you have been given more than just a sibling. A sister is a special type of sibling. You have been given a lifelong friend. A sister is one of the best types of friendships there is. She was one of the first friends you ever made in this life. But you didn’t have to try and make her become your friend because luckily, you guys were born right into it. You’ve never had to arrange plans to hang out or make time for each other because your household held you guys close day in and day out. You have never had to worry about impressing her because she accepted you regardless. This is why a sister is the best type of friend. A sisterly friendship is pure. You guys could spend indefinite time apart, and still pick right back up where you left off as if no time has passed at all.
My sister is my very best friend. She’s so special to me because no matter how hard we could fight, we’re stuck together forever, and that type of security feels good. She is someone I can tell everything to, knowing she will always have something assuring to say. Of course, her advice may be bias because she will always have my best interest in mind, but I like that. I know her moods better than she does — I always know what to say and when to say it. She can be innocent and sweet but also tough and stubborn when she wants to be. She has the ability to make me laugh more than anyone else ever could. The bond my sister and I have is a friendship that I will forever hold close to my heart. And it excites me to think that as we grow old, our bond can only grow with us. My sister is the light of my life; my person. When I was given a sister, I was given my other half, my true soul mate.RelationshipsMay 29, 2017
