When I first found out my mom was pregnant, I wanted it to be a boy. When my mom had a girl, I asked if we could trade her in.

However, now I would not want it any other way.

1. Having a second closet

Growing up my sister and I would get into screaming matches over wearing each other’s clothes but now, sharing and relying on each other’s closets is normal. However, when I moved into college and we had to divide up our clothes down to who’s was whose things got a little tricky.

2. Having a personal stylist

Whenever I would plan to go somewhere I would always have my sister curl my hair and I would always do her makeup in return. Having a sister always having someone to do your hair, makeup, and nails. The only catch was when people complimented me I had to tell them “Thanks, my sister did it”.

3. She's a phone call away.

I know I can call my sister at any time of the day with anything and she will listen. I can call her if I need someone to make me laugh, if I need someone to listen to me complain, or if I just need someone on the phone even if no one talks.

4. A movie night partner

Movie nights are a recurring activity in my house. Watching comedies and romances together, there is not one day my sister has ever turned down to getting in our sweats, eating a bunch of junk food and binge watching movies. I love her for that.

5. A food buddy

I always have someone who will go out to get food with me anytime of the day or make food with me whenever. Also, she never judges how much food I eat.

6. Someone to vent to

Whenever I need, I have someone to spill all my feelings out too. My sister lets me barge into her room and vent it all out anytime. Also, she always knows exactly what to say to make me feel better and to make me laugh.

7. A partner in crime

Having a sister means having someone who always has your back, whether it is at home or out and about. A sister is someone who helps you out of any situation without judging what you did. She will bail you out of trouble or even get you into it sometimes. With a sister, no matter what you did, she will always have your back through thick and thin.

8. A best friend

Having a sister means always having a best friend. Not just a best friend, but a soulmate. They will always be there for you, no matter how big the mess. A sister is someone who knows every single thing about you but loves you anyway. There is not one thing I could tell my sister that she would not know how to fix. She also keeps me grounded because she knows what I am thinking before I even do. A sister is a best friend that will never leave.

To my sister, thank you for all you do. You will always be my go to, my partner in crime and my best friend.

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.
