If you aren't aware about the celebrity feud going on between singer-songwriter Taylor Swift, rap artist Kanye West and his reality-TV star wife, Kim Kardashian-West, you are in for a wild story. Everyone knows what happened at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards when West interrupted Swift's speech for the Best Female Video award and took the mic away from her in front of millions, expressing that he believed Beyonce should of won the award and not Swift.
Swift and West made amends back at the 2015 VMA's and everything seemed to be fine between the two. Until, West came out with his new album "The Life of Pablo" that featured a hit track called, "Famous." In this song, West features a lyric, "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex, Why? I made that bitch famous."
According to West, Swift approved this controversial lyric, and he tweeted:
I did not diss Taylor Swift and I’ve never dissed her…

First thing is I’m an artist and as an artist I will express how I feel with no censorship
— KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) February 12, 2016
3rd thing I called Taylor and had a hour long convo with her about the line and she thought it was funny and gave her blessings

After this was tweeted, Swift claims that she was never aware of the actual, provocative lyric of the song and West never even called her to ask for approval of the lyric in the song. At the 2016 Grammy's, Swift's acceptance speech was actually a response to West's lyric.
“As the first woman to win Album of the Year at the Grammys twice, I want to say to all the young women out there—there are going to be people along the way who are going to try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame,” Swift said, with a pointed emphasis on a certain word at the end of the sentence.
Kardashian-West claimed to GQ Magazine, “She totally approved that. She totally knew that that was coming out. She wanted to all of a sudden act like she didn’t."
After that, Kardashian-West records a phone call between Swift and West. Kardashian-West post the recorded phone call to her Snapchat Story.
Swift decides to post her response to social media, just like Kardashian-West did with the phone call.
In California, it is a felony to record or eavesdrop on any confidential communication without the consent of all those involved. Kardashian-West could be facing jail time and/or a fine for recording the phone call without Swift's consent.
Since then, Kardashian-West has posted a Snapchat Story singing the "Famous" lyric about Swift. This was surely out of spite for Swift, or maybe she just overly enjoys that part of her hubby's song. One of Swifts hundreds of ex-boyfriends, the EDM legend, Calvin Harris, has also gotten joy out of this celebrity feud. Harris posted a comical video on his Snapchat Story of himself singing along to a West song, "That Part", waving a frying pan in the air. I guess this could of been coincidental, but not likely considering the power couple just broke up a month ago.
People have been choosing sides to which they believe Swift is in the right or West and Kardashian-West are. We will never know what the actual story is because neither of them will probably ever confess their wrong doings. We shouldn't be choosing sides in this celebrity feud because either Swift or West isn't telling us the honest truth. The amount of hatred Swift, West and Kardashian-West receive on the daily is absurd already and we shouldn't be adding to it with nonsense and drama that we really know nothing about. Even Swift and West might not even know what happened because it could of all been a misconception on both sides. This whole situation has gone a little too far, all over three seconds in a 3:14 minute song. The fact Kardashian-West could be facing jail time because she was trying to attempt to prove Swift wrong is absolute ludicrous. Whether you're a Swiftie or a Dash Doll, we don't know what actually went on and probably never will.
