"Parks and Recreation's" Ron Swanson is a hero among men. This breakfast-loving, government hating buffoon of a character is always sure to put a smile on the viewer's face. Swanson is outrageously bold and opinionated, further adding to his hilarity and likability. (If you have yet to start watching "Parks and Rec", you're definitely missing out on an outstanding series with a hysterical cast.) Ron Swanson is simply the most perfect human being that television has ever seen. If you don't believe me, here are sixteen very solid reasons why.

1. He has great taste in food.

2. He's low maintenance.

3. He is absolutely right, if you stop and think about it.

4. He is obviously not a cat person.

5. He doesn't get into absurd fads.

6. He has his priorities straight.

7. He has quite the way with words.

8. He has tons of great life advice.

9. His confidence is outstanding.

10. He does not stand for bullsh!t.

11. He is the most patriotic man on the planet.

12. He's a fun drunk.

13. He is truthful and hilarious at the same time.

14. He keeps people in line.

15. He is full of wisdom.

16. He is opinionated as hell and isn't afraid to tell you about it.

Thank you for being you, Ron.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
