It has been a week since we lost the talented actor, Edward Herrmann. As we continue to mourn the TV icon, we remind ourselves of how greatly he touched the American audience through diverse roles in Law & Order, Oz, and Grey's Anatomy. But one character we will have extra difficulty saying goodbye to is Richard Gilmore, beloved TV grandfather. For all of us self proclaimed, Gilmore Girls, Richard Gilmore will always live on as a grandfather figurehead. So raise a glass in his honor at Friday night dinner. Rest in peace, Mr. Gilmore.
