Why I Play Hearthstone

The closest I will ever come to being a gamer as of now.

The closest thing I have and probably ever will come to gaming in any capacity is a game called Hearthstone. For background information, Hearthstone is a game launched by Blizzard Entertainment and is essentially the World of Warcraft version of Magic the Gathering.

I only got into it because I was initially aiming to get into World of Warcraft, but found Hearthstone instead when I found out WoW could not be uploaded in app form from the App Store.I would not say I am the best play ever, in fact I’m far from it as my ranked game statistics put me with 75% of the players every season (someday I will get further than rank seventeen!)

However, I do have a lot of fun playing it as it requires me to determine what class works best to my advantage in certain types of games and tests my ability to put together a good set in how I create decks and choose cards for said deck. My current strongest suit is what I like to call my C’Thun Mage. With Mage already being the class with which I am most skilled, not long after the release of the “Whispers of the Old Gods” expansion pack I made some changes to my Mage deck. Thanks to my C’Thun Mage my game play, has shown noticeable improvement. While C’Thun Mage may not always be my definitive hand in these games (sometimes I will switch over to Murloc Paladin) the more I continue playing Hearthstone the more I feel I am able to participate in an exercise of strategic thinking.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
