"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"

A quote I struggle with and watch others struggle with. Every day I see beautiful people with amazing souls who don't see how gorgeous they are. They compare themselves to other people. 'That girl is thinner so she's prettier' 'That person is more popular than me because they look better'. I've seen my closest friend struggle with seeing what I see, and that's why I started shooting. Using my camera to capture what I see. Then being able to show them? That's the best part, watching their faces light up to see how I see them.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here.
