6 Reasons Why Peter Should Be The Next Bachelor
ABC

Every year as "The Bachelor/Bachelorette" season comes to an end, audiences quickly start speculating who will be the next lead for the show. With the exception of Nick Viall, they almost always pick someone from the most recent season who end up as a runner-up or came in third or fourth place. This season is no exception, and with hometowns this week, Rachel is down to her final four guys. All dreamy and charming in their own way, but Mr. Peter Kraus stands out above them all and deserves his own chance of finding love.

*This is assuming, he and Rachel don't end up together in the end; which they very well could. Theoretically, if Rachel loses all her senses and doesn't pick him, this is why he would make a great next Bachelor.*

1. He's got the silver fox thing going on.

According to urbandictionary.com, a silver fox is defined as "an attractive older man, generally, one that has gray hair." Yep, Peter seems to fits that one pretty well. Although, only 31, he is arguably the perfect age for the Bachelor role because we assume he is ready to settle down and serious about finding a wife.

2. He doesn't have "Bachelorette S13" in his Instagram bio.

Thank. the. good. Lord. above. SO many contestants on this show nowadays go on the show to be famous, and then as soon as they get on television for 0.2 seconds, they add being on "The Bachelor" to their resume. You can still question his intentions as much as you want, but this proves to people that he is maybe not as fame-obsessed compared to some others.

3. He is family oriented.

His Instagram has a bunch of pictures of him and his family. C'mon, could you love him any more than you already did? What a stand up a guy. #unclegoals

4. He has never caused drama during the season.

Another huge relief. Who doesn't want someone that is a guy's guy? He gets along well with others, friends with everyone, and always down for a good time.

5. He can freestyle like no one else you've seen before.

Another great attribute. He can walk the walk and talk the talk. He'll keep you laughing and entertained for days! (Great quality for someone who is trying to be the lead on a reality television show).

6. Overall, he's a quality guy.

Producers, listen up: this guy is a sweetheart. And he'd make a great lead because of his maturity and seriousness about finding a wife. Most of America is rooting for him in the off chance that Rachel doesn't pick him in the end. But we deserve more Peter on our television screens every Monday night come January. Fingers crossed!

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs.
