Within the past week, "Pitch Perfect 2" was released on DVD. How excited was I? Way too excited! Let's just say that I had a countdown on my phone. What? Once it left theaters I had to wait for what felt like forever to watch the movie again. I am obsessed with “Pitch Perfect,” both the original and the sequel, and my parents bought me my own copy of “Pitch Perfect” before I moved to college so I wouldn't have to take their copy (thanks for that, by the way).
If you have never met me before, but you have seen both “Pitch Perfect movies,” let me introduce myself to you. I am a combination of Chloe and Beca.
1. I am bubbly.
Chloe, as you have more than likely noticed, is a very energetic person. Like Chloe, I love to meet new people. She smiles constantly and tries to make everyone's day so much better. If someone is upset, I will try to make their day 10 times better.
2. I am a Radio Broadcaster.
As we all remember from the first movie, Beca works for her college radio station. I have been working at the radio station located at my college since my freshman year. I even worked the night shift for half of the year.
3. Team bonding is important.
In the second movie, Chloe decides that The Bellas need to go on a retreat to find their harmony. I love retreats. Anything with team bonding written on it has my name on it too.
4. I am focused on the future.
Beca gets an internship her senior year and begins thinking about life after The Bellas. I am always thinking about what I want to do with my major when I am out of college.
5. I care about my team.
I am involved with different organizations, and like both Beca and Chloe, I care about my organizations and the teams involved with them. Sure, it's not an a cappella group, but it's a group of people working towards a goal. How cool would it be if it was a cappella?
Call me obsessed with "Pitch Perfect" but I can admit it; I have no shame. I am proud that I saw the second movie 10 times in theaters (I work at a movie theater). But The Bellas have a special place in my heart, especially Beca and Chloe. You better "Aca Believe It."
