There are many reasons why November is the best month out there. It's more than just a month for being thankful. It's about all the different events that go on and time spent with the people who mean the most to you.

1. It's still football season

Whether you are still attending games or not, watching football is always a good way to spend your Saturday's and Sunday's. If you're really a sports fan, you'll even be watching some of the games on Thanksgiving.

2. Starbucks releases the typical holiday drinks

Who doesn't love some flavored drinks? Starbucks likes to have different designs on their cups every year. You'll find a lot of white girls posting pictures with the red cups.

3. It's cuddle season

Whenever you are cold you can cuddle with your significant other, pet, or friend. Put on a holiday movie and make some hot chocolate. It's an excuse to sit back and relax.

4. It's socially acceptable to play Christmas music

Although this varies from person to person, it definitely will put people in the mood. If you find yourself making treats in the kitchen, put on some tunes to get you excited for the upcoming events.

5. You can see Christmas lights at various places

Everyone seems to be posting pictures in front of a tree with beautiful lights. Make sure to go before it gets too cold!

6. You can still have bonfires with family and friends

Grab some chocolates, graham crackers, marsh-mellows, friends, and family. While enjoying the outdoors, treat yourself to some delicious smores and hot chocolate.

7. You can watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

If you have some free time on Thanksgiving Day, this is always a big hit. You get to hear some of your favorite artists and favorite floats.

8. There's Thanksgiving...duh

What's better than being surrounded by your family on Thanksgiving Day eating amazing food? If you're a football fan there are even the traditional games on. It's a special day to show your family how much you appreciate what they do for you.

9. You can go Black Friday shopping

Did someone say shopping? There are so many good deals on Black Friday, so make sure to grab your friends and snag some steals. You should also watch out for some deals online.

10. It's a time to be thankful

Although you should always be thankful, this is the month where you can be extra thankful. Let the important people in your life know how much they mean to you.

November is the best month of the year because it's the start of the best time of the year. It's filled with lots of happiness and with lots of joy.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.
