You see it everywhere: the combination of Nike shorts and t-shirt is one of the most popular, easy, and relatable outfit any girl could wear. It is the staple of every college town, the go-to look for grabbing a quick bite, and a necessity in every girl’s closet.

Now, why is it so popular? It is such a common look to see because of its comfort, accessibility, and ability to go mix and match. Girls wear Nike shorts and a t-shirt because it still gives off that “cute” vibe without being swallowed by baggy sweats. It still allows us to run around and be free without jeans or any other outfit restricting us. There could be one pair of Nike shorts that can go with ANY t-shirt we own; it doesn’t even have to match. Especially in college, with the hundreds of sorority shirts given out, they are easily paired with a good pair of Nike shorts on any given day.

From social events to classes and lunch dates to relaxing, Nike shorts and a t-shirt is your best bet. The combination is so popular not because it is just a fad that everyone is wearing but because it truly has so many pluses about it.
