We’re all college students, and it’s inevitable that we’re all probably going to take a nap at least once a day. If not, god bless you because I don’t know how you do it. Personally for me, napping is the most important part of the day. It’s the time where we don’t have to think about that paper that’s due at midnight, or all of the online Spanish homework you still haven’t completed.
Napping is “me” time, and in my opinion, it’s the best time. Where would we all be today if we didn’t get our daily naps in? We would still be going to bed at three a.m. and just generally tired and cranky. I mean in our house, if you walk in at about four or five any day, I guarantee you at least one person is sleeping, but that’s normal. I mean some of my roommates take it to the next level and just say screw class, sleeping is more important.
Even on the weekends when you do get a full eight hours asleep as opposed to three, you get up, make some coffee, pop a squat on the couch and in about ten to fifteen minutes, you’ll be out. Shopping or beach trips? Nah, those don’t happen till about five in the afternoon. If you have a good nap during the day, you know it's going to bed a good day. If you don't, and someone wakes you up, they better run because your day is now ruined.
The amount of times my mom has called me and said, “Well what time are you taking a nap?” Or “You took multiple naps today?! You’re not going to bed able to sleep later.” But mom, that’s college, we don’t sleep normal hours.
