Mothers. There's not much not to love about them. They're there for you through your worst moments, and everything they do is laced with good intentions. Here are a few reminders why your mom really is the best.

1. She will always be honest with you.

Whether you're trying on prom dresses or asking her opinion on your new boyfriend, you can always count on your mom to be totally, brutally honest with you. It's out of love... I think.

2. She always has the best advice.

Boys, fashion, family, friends, school... She always knows just what to say, and when to say it. Even if you didn't ask.

3. You can raid her closet.

Whenever you're bored of your own clothes, you know you have a second closet just waiting for you to rummage through in the room next door. Win!

4. You can always count on her to make a big deal over anything that's bothering you.

You got the wrong order at a restaurant? Your shoes are uncomfortable? You're hungry? You're tired? You bet that your mom is going to take care of that in about .5 seconds.

5. She makes the best food.

Speaking of being hungry, there is nothing in this world like a home-cooked meal from your mom. Whether your mom can cook a whole Thanksgiving dinner or if she can only make cereal, when it comes from her, it's the best food ever.

6. If you hate someone, she automatically hates them even more.

She is the one person in your life who you can trash talk anyone to, and even if she doesn't know them, she will always agree with you. She's on your side, no questions asked.

7. She's the most selfless person you know.

Day or night, she is always a phone call away to soothe your worried mind or make you laugh. She would drop anything she's doing to help you in whatever way she can.

8. She really is your biggest fan.

When no one else wanted to drive six hours to take you to your cheer competition, or wake up at the crack of dawn and stand in the rain to watch you from the sidelines, she was there. She supports everything you do unconditionally.

9. There is nothing she can't fix.

She seems to know just what medicine to give you when you're sick, and just how to fix your outfit with only a safety pin. Even your worst days can be magically fixed with a hug and kiss from your mom.

10. She truly is your best friend.

She takes up a big space in your heart full of comfort and love that could NEVER be replaced. And at the end of the day, you know you want to be just like her when you grow up.
