Why My Boyfriend Is My Best Friend

My favorite person to get in trouble with

Why My Boyfriend Is My Best Friend

I spend so much time with my boyfriend sometimes we get tired of each other-- but I wouldn't change it for the world. My boyfriend is my best friend, and there isn't anyone else I would rather spend my time with. Why, you ask?

Well, there is no better feeling than being with your best friend day in and day out. To have a connection with someone just by looking at them and you can understand every thought that goes through their head.

There is also that perfect feeling of knowing your best friend is also your boyfriend. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that and is always the best feeling.

There's just something about being with your man that just makes everything else irrelevant. Time just slips away when you are with him. Time just seems to stop when you are cuddling on the couch watching TV.

He is my best friend because he understands me on a level that no one else can. It's that magical moment when he can read your mind and comfort you with a single touch.

I spend so much time with him because he soothes my soul and spirit and that is the most magical thing in the world. It's the moment when you feel safe and at peace with yourself when you have a person that can calm you.

I spend almost all my time with him because sometimes I can't get enough of his presence. It's the aura that he puts off that I am drawn too. Yes, I know I sound holistic and crazy but sometimes it's the energy around you and the one special person that makes it whole.

He is my partner in crime because we can connect on a different level than most people do and he will literally do anything with me and that is the most special thing every. Having someone that is your partner in crime is having someone that is always down to do anything with you no matter the time of day or how crazy it may be.

Let's be honest here, the best adventure to go on with is your boyfriend. The most fun times I have ever had are with my boyfriends-- the road trips we have gone on will be my favorite memories. The more fun you have with your boyfriend, the faster and deeper you fall in love with them.

And the most important reason why is because we love each other and there is nothing better than being with the person you love 24/7. To share an intimate, emotional understanding with someone that is unbreakable is the greatest and most secure feeling ever and nothing can change or break that understanding.

Blair Waldorf Quote
"DESTINY IS FOR LOSERS. IT'S JUST A STUPID EXCUSE TO WAIT FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN INSTEAD OF MAKING THEM HAPPEN." - BLAIR WALDORF.

The world stopped in 2012 when our beloved show "Gossip Girl" ended. For six straight years, we would all tune in every Monday at 9:00 p.m. to see Upper Eastside royalty in the form of a Burberry headband clad Blair Waldorf. Blair was the big sister that we all loved to hate. How could we ever forget the epic showdowns between her and her frenemy Serena Van Der Woodsen? Or the time she banished Georgina Sparks to a Christian summer camp? How about that time when she and her girls took down Bart Bass? Blair is life. She's taught us how to dress, how to be ambitious, and most importantly, how to throw the perfect shade.

too tired to care

We've all been there. From move-in day to the first finals week in college, your first term is an adventure from start to finish. In honor of college decisions coming out recently, I want to recap some of the most common experiences college freshmen experience.

1. The awkward hellos on move-in day.

You're moving your stuff onto your floor, and you will encounter people you don't know yet in the hallway. They live on your floor, so you'll awkwardly smile and maybe introduce yourself. As you walk away, you will wonder if they will ever speak to you again, but don't worry, there's a good chance that you will make some great friends on your floor!

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.
