For those of you who haven't read article one of this list, I would go back and read those as well. Again this is not a standard for all Millennials. In fact, I myself am a Millennial and do not fit into the standard category. With that said here is round two of Why Millennials Are So Bad at Adulting.

1. They are know-it-alls.

So many times I have tried to have a conversation with a millennial and they wouldn't hear what I had to say. They knew they were right and wouldn't hear a varying opinion. Now sticking with what you believe isn't bad...but if you are wrong, you should be willing to accept that.

2. They don't know how to talk to people.

So much of our lives in this century are surrounded by technology. Some people don't even know what it means to have an actual conversation anymore.

3. They are lazy.

For some reason, it is a common belief that you can have the CEO position with zero to no effort. But the reality is you have to work hard in order to get to the CEO position.

4. They lack respect and common courtesy.

The way to succeed isn't by stomping on others to reach the top. Even if it gets you somewhere in the beginning, in the end, you will fall.

5. They are entitled and spoiled.

The generation before us didn't just get stuff for no reason. They had to work for it. Doing the dishes and walking the dog were things that they just had to do, not something they did for money.

6. They have no patience.

Everything is right now and we all seem to have a need for speed. There is no way to grow and advance with the exception that things will happen instantly.

7. They are selfish.

How can you expect to grow if you are not willing to love and help others? There is no time like the present. Whether you believe it or not, helping others is an incredible way to become a better adult.

8. They don't finish what they started.

Longevity and stability are so important in life, and without those it is hard to advance and excel in anything. Who knows if that is the path to becoming who you are meant to be. Finishing what you started is the way to greatness. You can go from 0 to Hero with time. (Yes the Hercules joke was intended)

9. Their parents don't let them fail.

Failure is a part of life and no growth comes from that. I have found that some of the times that I have failed have been the most ensuring times of my life. I am a better person due to those experiences. When we grow up we will fail, so better to learn now rather than fall on our butts later.

I hope that by showing some of the many reasons that Millennials are Bad at Adulting, everyone will grow. And in that growth we will become everything that we are meant to be. Because Millennials are smart and capable of so much, now it is time to shine.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
