1. Most of the people on campus are extremely nice.
I have met some of the nicest people in the world here. I am amazed by how many people have been so accepting here.
2. I have had professors that actually care about me.
In high school, I was told that my college professors would not care about my personal life or what I had going on. I have found that to be completely untrue because all of my professors have been nothing but caring.
3. They have an amazing Journalism program.
I am so glad that The University of Kentucky has such a great journalism program because I feel like I am going to get more out of it.
4. It is not too far from home.
It is only a short hour and a half drive to my hometown in Northern Kentucky. I love this because I can go home whenever I want and it is not a problem.
5. The football games are amazing.
I absolutely love going to the football games and seeing all of the school spirit my fellow peers have.
6. But, the basketball games are even better.
Rooting for our basketball team is one of my favorite things to do!
7. The World's Largest Water Balloon Fight during K Week.
K Week events are the best things about first coming to campus.
8. Sled riding down the bowl was the greatest experience.
I have only experienced one snow day on campus so far, but it was one of the greatest experiences I have had here.
9. We have the best library around.
The library is one of my favorite places to be on campus. It is huge and a place that I love studying.
10. It is where I met my best friend.
I am so happy with my decision to go to The University of Kentucky. If I would have chosen a different school, I would have never met my best friend.
