Why I Love Ed Sheeran
Rolling Stone

Everyone knows who Ed Sheeran is. How can you not when he has had hits like "The A-Team," "Sing," "Photograph" and "Thinking Out Loud." Okay, even if you don't listen to music you could still recognize him as the ginger British kid.

2011 was the year "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" came out, and being as obsessed with Harry Potter as I am, I was on Twitter reading tweets about the movie, going through some PTSD that it was over. But anyway, I stumbled upon a video with Rupert Grint in it (Ron Weasley), "Lego House." So obviously I watched it, not knowing that the video would make a huge impact on my life.

This was the first time I saw one of Ed's music videos and I was instantly hooked. This video led me to watching literally everyYouTube video that Ed Sheeran is in.

So here are a few reasons why I love him:

1. He's a huge celebrity, but he does not care about what people think of him. He is true to himself and never lets us forget that. He reminds us that it's not what people look like that's important. He was named worst dressed by GQ and he didn't mind,he still has one of the best voices in the game right now.

2. His lyrics never cease to amaze me. His songs and lyircs range from sweet love songs like "Thinking Out Loud" to hip-hop vibes like "Sing" to spitting some sick lyrics like he does in "Take It Back." Basically what I'm saying is that he can sing the alphabet and it would be beautiful.

3. Despite his fame, he's just a person like us, which he shows us time and time again.

4. OK, let's be honest, his voice is majestic. Here is a video displaying his beautiful range

5. His concerts are amazing. I got the pleasure of seeing him live this past summer in Philadelphia. There was a point in the concert where his guitar string broke and he did not let that stop the show in any way. He took off the guitar, and continued to "Sing" (no pun intended there).

6. Speaking of his concerts, it is only him on stage up there. He does not have any back up singers or band. It's just him, his guitar, and a loop pedal.

7. Ed overcame a stuttering problem he had when he was a child. However, he did not let that let him stop chasing after his dream. This shows how incredibly motivated he was to pursue his passion of singing no matter how many setbacks he has had.

8. Also, have you heard any of his mashups? He combines 50 Cent's"In Da Club" Iggy's "Fancy" with his song "You need me, I don't need you." He combines Stevie Wonder's "Superstition" and Bill Withers "Ain't No Sunshine" with his "Take It Back." He combines.. okay you get the picture. He combines songs that normally wouldn't be combines yet he does it perfectly. This is one of my personal favs.

9. Oh yeah, tbt to that time he played little orphan Annie on Jimmy Kimmel Live. What celebrity would wear a dress on live television? Ed Sheeran that's who.

10. Finally, who wouldn't love this face?

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

11 Times Aubrey Plaza Described Sophomore Year

"I don't want to do things. I want to do not things."

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.
