Every person has a different life story and everyone’s suffering differs. One thing remains the same for all of us which is that life does not get easier. Worldly, there aren’t two people the same which means there aren’t people with the same exact life either. We are all different and our differences strengthen our relationships and our personalities. You might have plenty of reasons to complain about life but there are endless reasons that we overlook that are far more amazing than to think of the bad ones.
Most importantly, is to change the way you look at life. When something doesn’t go as you plan you are saddened and hopeless. To change this, you should remind yourself that what doesn’t work is not what you really need. It means that there’s something else that is much more pleasing. When you fail, remember that you are eliminating what is not for you and you can move forward to discover new things that might work. Life challenges you so don’t give up on it. Giving up on life is not an option. The solution is to ride along with it until you reach what is the best for you.
Another blessing that we, as Americans have, is the infinity of opportunities. We are truly blessed and we have it all. We must be willing to go after what we want. We have the best schools, infinite job opportunities, great business world, solutions for almost everything, and we are one of the best countries out there. The only thing standing in our way is our own self. Use everything our country is blessed with for your best interest. Take advantage of what’s in front of you. Other countries are forced to live a very harsh life without jobs and without safety. Realize your blessings and use them.
To fall in love with this life, there’s one very important aspect to keep in mind. Interpret every suffering that you might encounter as a blessing. If everything was perfect in life, then there will be no meaning to live. When you face a problem in life, it is meant to, so you can learn to become stronger. The downs that we go through in life are necessary. They help us become wiser and teach us many life lessons that we would not learn if we didn’t face those problems. During a mass one Sunday, the priest said something that I could never forget. He said that every suffer is a blessing from God. God loves you if you are suffering because he wants you to taste a little bit of what he tasted by suffering.
Last, but not least, the most important reason to cherish life is the existence of our loved ones. Our families and friends make our lives joyful. The love that they have for us and the love that we have for them is what makes this life so much better and meaningful. Be thankful for every single person that you have in your life and take every opportunity to spend time with them. Life without the loved ones is like heaven without God.
