It's still a bloody good time.

I have been playing Killing Floor for a number of years, I started with a few of my close friends. It has come a long way since the original. The graphics have been improved to a degree that's impressive on both PC and Console. I own a copy of the game for both platforms and have been following the updates all along the early access versions of the game. The improvements were stacked and stacked, and it culminated with this final version having been released. I think this game fills a niche that games do not seem to have. The lack of good Co-op in games has been a problem for many entries. I can boot up Battlefield and the classes in a squad meld together fairly well, but it doesn't have the intimacy that co-op and PVE games have. Dying even once during a round has serious consequences and leaves your team to deal with a disproportionately large amount of enemies to the current number of players. That being said, you also lose your weapons and money when you die, so it can be a very serious setback if you can't find your weapons on the ground. The idea that there are consequences to dying beyond just having to wait and this adds a certain level of trust with team-mates. I find the game doesn't start to pick up for any specific class until about level 5 and this can deter less patient players. In this game, classes are called "Perks" and every time you level up your special stats go up, like with the medic class you move faster and have more body armor.

Now I want to move on to the arsenal this game has- it's actually a decent level of weapons and classes that are enough to make a lot of different combinations considering there are ten total perks, with potentially more on the way. As with Killing Floor, the first in the series, you get a decent amount of content updates courtesy of tripwire. They have a good track record for releasing free content for their games, as well as paid DLC items. This game is a solid 9/10 in terms of games that are under $60, this game is definitely a great gift at $39.99 retail, and will probably go on sale for Black Friday/Cyber Monday! I highly recommend this title the PS4 pro support from Day 1 is great, the 4k on PS4 pro really does bring out the details and clarity, and attention to detail with every bullet, explosion, and gore particle flying about.

My final verdict for the game is 9/10. As a long time fan, I'm starting fresh just like any other player would be and it was fun to be able to level up my classes from scratch, even dabbling in some of the classes that are new to Killing Floor such as SWAT. The original Perks are all there, with the level cap at 25 for each class, instead of the hard road to level 5 in Killing Floor, this game rewards just a little bit to make you feel like your efforts are worthwhile. Fans of the series have no reason to exclude this from their holiday must-haves, the future updates, and possible Mod support is enough to keep people engaged for a long time after the game is released. I just hope that Tripwire continues their craft in Killing Floor 2 for all updates to come.

We Heart It

Over the past decade, television has undergone a very crucial transition: the incorporation of female lead characters. Since it's a known fact that girls actually do run the world (Beyonce said so herself), it's time for the leading ladies of the small screen to get some credit. Without these characters, women would still be sitting in the background of our favorite shows. These women are not only trailblazers for female empowerment, but role models for women worldwide. With that, here are 15 of the smartest, sassiest ladies gracing our screens that remind us that women do, indeed, rule:
