Why It's OKAY To Be The Single Friend

To the girl who's worried about her relationship status,

Don't be. Your time will come and you will wonder why you were ever worried.

Once you reach a certain age it seems like everyone around you is in a serious relationship, getting engaged, or maybe even having babies. This doesn't mean that you will never have these things. It just means that you're not ready for all that yet.

But don't let this stop you from trying with the next person.

Take time for yourself and when you're ready you should give it your all. It's not selfish to take care of yourself - mind, body, and soul - before letting someone else in your life.

Don't settle. Don't lose hope. Don't give up.

You are important.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here.
