It's safe to say that the New England Patriots are the most hated team in the NFL. As an avid fan of this most talked about, most resented, most trash talked team, I am ironically OK with this. Sure, it gets annoying when ESPN analysts still mention DeflateGate on a daily basis (it's over people), but as a Boston sports fan (this includes the Patriots), it comes with the territory. We Bostonians are incredibly tough, strong and rugged. We don't take any negativity when it comes to our teams. We're beyond proud to support them no matter what anyone else says. Here are a few reasons why.
1. We have the best quarterback in the entire world and you don't.
Oh hey, Tom.
2. Not to mention the most beautiful quarterback in the entire world.
I mean, seriously --- what more could you ask for?
3. We consistently dominate year in and year out and piss off every other team's fans.
In case you needed to be reminded, four Super Bowl wins (about to make it five this year) and 10 AFC Championship games since 2001.
Kiss those!
4. We don't have this guy as our quarterback.
Enough said.
5. We don't have this guy as our head coach.
Sorry not sorry, Rexy.
6. We have the most coveted touchdown celebration ever.
Gronk spike!
7. Pats Nation is greater than any other fan section.
8. Can you say, "Hello!"
Insert heart-eyed emoji.
8. Does your tight end cuddle with kittens and still kick butt on the field? Didn't think so.
Two cuties.
9. So many people hate us because they ain't us.
Ah, the glory of being great.
10. We had most of our important players injured for a good amount of the season and we still make the AFC Championship (and hopefully the Super Bowl), when other teams crumble at the injury of one player.
I have been lucky to be a die-hard Patriots fan my entire life. Nothing will ever change that. My faith and love is in TB12 and my boys to always get the job done.
Now let's go win another Super Bowl.
