"Fortnite" made millions of people happy for the price of zero dollars starting in 2017. The game increased in popularity starting in 2018 and really exploded in the Spring of 2018. They have made over a billion dollars in revenue and the game is free to play. The numbers have been very impressive, and "Fortnite" continues its dominance in the gaming industry. With all this goodness, comes a downfall. The game is still very popular right now, but a lot of people have discussed what the game is doing wrong. Some of these problems may see a fall in the popularity of the game in the near future, and it may be a cause for concern.

To begin, we should talk about the positives from the game. The most crucial positive for this game is the fact that it's free. No game has done what "Fortnite" has done, giving this type of free content exploded the game like no other. "Fortnite" also didn't have to hire actors to promote their game, because actors and athletes started playing the game because of how fun it was. Rappers and athletes such as Drake, Travis Scott, and JuJu Smith all played with the notorious "Ninja" (The most popular "Fortnite" player on earth) to accumulate the highest viewership in Twitch history at the time. The game was super addicting and it seemed like everyone and their mother was playing it. But here is the problem with EVERYONE playing the game.

With "Fortnite" being a free game, everyone is playing. That includes really young kids. While it's nice to have them playing games, they just aren't good enough to play with adults. This is a problem that not enough people talk about. Kids are mechanically worse than grown adults, as well as much more immature. Nothing is more toxic than a ten-year-old kid raging and swearing at you because you killed him in a video game. They make the game toxic and it makes it an awful experience.

Another problem with the game is the repetitiveness. It is basically the same experience every time you boot up the game. You drop, pick up some guns, get a kill, then die. It gets extremely boring after an hour of playing which makes people get bored. They need to do a better job of mixing new stuff into the game. It is the same map as day one but with some different features every few months. Some people like it, but a lot of people think its boring. We all need some variety of video games, and "Fortnite" is lagging behind.

Another problem with "Fortnite" doesn't even really have to do with the game itself. It's the problem with the genre of video game. Battle Royale games are becoming copied and mocked every day. The genre itself is bland and looks as if it's dying. This can not bare well for "Fortnite" because their primary content comes from Battle Royale. It is just the same thing every game and it gets boring.

"Fortnite" is still the most popular game in the world right now. Everyone still plays it and everyone is still happy. Yes, the numbers are declining, but it's because every person who can play games, is playing "Fortnite". There is a ceiling and they have reached it. The future will tell us if the game dies, but for now, it's fine. We need to look out for when this game dies, and we can understand why.

Now that it seems “talking” is the new way to date, and will stay that way until another idiotic term is used to describe the people who can’t settle down and just date someone, I feel as if it’s time to go over the unwritten rules of “talking.”

Rule 1. Having feeling without feeling.

What's up Asshat,

I've composed a list of things that I wish upon you, and they're harsh and cruel. These things are things that I wouldn't wish upon my worst of enemies, not even that Starbuck's barista who always screws up my order, not even him. You fall into a whole other category of hate. You surpass Starbucks barista. Congratulations, I'm actually a pretty nice person, making you worthy of every single bit of torture I wish upon you. What are these things I wish upon you you might ask?
