Here's Why Internet Friends Are The Best
World Atlas

We live in the time period of technology and social media. Just about everyone has an Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, Tumblr, or some form of social media. Almost everyone with at least one form of social media can honestly say they follow someone that they don't really know.

For most of my friends, they follow people because they're attractive or because, while they haven't met, they share mutual friends.

Following these people often leads to people, "sliding into DMs" and getting to know some pretty cool people.

I have met numerous friends from Instagram, Twitter, and Tumblr. They have become some of my greatest friends in life.

Internet friends are actually some of the best people to have as friends because they know a lot about you. It sounds weird, however, remember they follow your social media. I know on my social media I post about the things I am passionate about, the things I love, and the stuff I do. Most of my friends that I have met over the internet share similar interests and always know how to keep conversations going because they know what you like.

Also, internet friends do not judge you for your physical appearance. Since they don't see you in person often, they don't really judge you based on physical things. They talk to you to learn about who you are as a person and that makes the connection stronger.

Internet friends are easier to talk to. They do not know your family, your other friends, but they understand your life. You can talk to them about your struggles and since they do not know your family and friends they can't spread your secrets. When I have a crush on someone, I almost always tell my internet friends first. Why? Because they can't accidentally spill the beans!

I know growing up we were always taught to not make friends with people on the internet, however, when we live in the generation of social media and technology it is inevitable. These friendships are some of the best ones you'll ever have. I know I wouldn't be without the friends I've made on the internet.

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
