Why I'm Thankful For My Best Friends

At one point in time, we all had a moment where we looked at the person sitting next to us, and were overwhelmed with a feeling of gratefulness.

Why I'm Thankful For My Best Friends

To you,

Thank you for being patient. Thank you for always knowing exactly what to say, and what not to say. If it weren't for you having so much certainty that everything would be okay, I don't think I'd believe it would be. Even when I stress about the smallest things, you keep me in check. I can't tell you how thankful I am for that.

Thank you for never letting me down. No matter what the situation is, I know I can count on you. It doesn't matter if we haven't talked in days, or have been talking nonstop- you are always there for me (even if it means you have to leave your house) and I can't tell you how many times I needed that.

The thought of going off to college next year and not being able to see all of you every day truly breaks my heart, but I know for sure that there are some bonds that not even distance can break. And the next time I call you to not talk about anything important at all, I know you'll answer.

You do so much for me that I can't even put into words how much I appreciate everything you do - and have done - for me over the course of our relationship so far. While every couple has their fair share of tiffs and disagreements, thank you for getting through all of them with me and making us a better couple at the other end. With any argument, we don't just throw in the towel and say we're done, but we work towards a solution that puts us in a greater place each day. Thank you for always working with me and never giving up on us.
