Dogs are better than people

Ever since I was a little girl, I have been a huge fan of dogs. I had to have every book on dog breeds and every fluffy puppy stuffed animal. I was even able to persuade my parents to buy a dog instead of a microwave at one point. As soon as I saw a dog, my day was instantly made better. Why are dogs so important to me? Why not! A dog is one of the most loving creatures on the planet.

It has been my experience that dogs are extremely loyal. I have seen dogs protect not only people from harm, but they're canine buddies as well. I used to have a big Flat-Coated Retriever who was best friends with my tiny Morkie. Wherever Caesar went, Oliver would follow. One day Oliver that he was real tough and approached the Chow next door. Caesar heard Oliver yip when the Chow tried to attack him and came to his rescue in a flash. They were best friends until the very end. When Caesar passed away, Oliver became depressed. I don't care what you say, dogs do grieve the way that we do. Their friendship was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. I would give anything to connect with a human the way they were connected.

Not only are dogs loyal beyond compare, they are also positive rays of sunshine. If you can look at a smiling dog, and not feel some form of joy, you have a heart of stone as far as I am concerned. Dogs aren't ashamed to outwardly show their love and joy the way that we humans do. If they are happy to see, their tails will wag; simple as that. If you are ever feeling sad, just look at your dog, give him or her a hug, and you will feel their love and support radiate off of them onto you just like magic. If you don't have a dog, I am very sorry. You are seriously missing out.

My heart is just so overfilled with love overtime I see or even think about my dogs. Not only because of how adorable and sweet they are, but I know they love me just as much. There is never any doubt that a dog loves you. Every time my dog looks up at me with those big, brown eyes and stares into my soul, I know that we are connected. Dogs are creatures of love, and I wish more people were like dogs.I could keep rambling about my love for dogs, but I think it is fairly obvious. Never forget to count your dog as a family member because to them, you are their whole family and world. Cherish and respect dogs as the blessings that they are.
