Lately, I've seen some people complain about eating alone in public, like at restaurants or college dining halls. I'm here to tell you why eating alone is the best, and why its better than eating with people.
1. You're on your own time.
No more waiting for people to finish eating, or rush to finish eating so you're not keeping people waiting. You can eat as fast or as slow as you want to.
2. You can people watch.
Seriously. Look around and just notice people's conversations. Maybe there's a first date not going too well, or two friends sharing gossip. It's interesting to just watch.
3. You can get sh*t done.
Bring your computer, phone, homework, anything. You can finish that assignment you've been dreading to do, or make that grocery list you need to remember.
4. Or, do literally nothing.
This is your break. Just sit and eat, or just relax. No pressure to talk to anybody.
5. You can leave when you want.
I mean, as long as you pay for your food first, you can choose when to leave without being rude to the people you would be with.
