A couple of years ago my dad mentioned to me how "GREAT" Game of Thrones was and how I "NEEDED" to watch it. Old time, gory shows were never of interest to me and I didn't feel like I needed to watch it at the time. I always perceived it as a guys show which is terrible because I later realized that everyone and their mother was also watching the show as well.

At that time I had watched a few episodes with my family at the lake house since almost every family member of mine in that house was addicted to that show. I honestly enjoyed the episodes I did see, but never really thought about starting from the beginning.

Now here we are at the end of May 2019 and I am completely finished with the entire show. The sad part about this is I started at the beginning of May. Now it may seem like I have time on my hands, but I don't. I have a job where I'm pretty much scheduled every day, a boyfriend and a family who I almost see every chance that I can get.

Honestly, I don't know how I finished eight seasons in under a month, but that definitely says something about the show. I was intrigued from the beginning and I guess there was no turning back for me. I loved how creative each "house" was in the show and how many stories led to one big one.

I would like to thank my boyfriend and everyone on twitter who wouldn't shut up about this show because without you I probably wouldn't of spent 99.9% of May binge watching the most watched TV show. I hate to say that I hopped on the bandwagon, but I guess it was worth it.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
