I will know he is the one because...

1. Everything about my life will fall into place.

The feeling of just knowing will settle and a sense of peace will take over.

2. The butterflies in my stomach will always flutter every time we are together

There will be no more anxiety or questioning but rather pure excitement and optimism.

3. Spending a minute apart will feel like an hour.

That person will mean the world to me, and having the chance to experience life's journies will only be greater with him standing next to me.

4. My family will love him just as much as I do.

They will take him in as one of their own, welcoming him with open arms.

5. (And vice versa) He will love my family just as much as his own.

Not only will my family adore him, he will consider himself a part of our family forest.

6. He will challenge me daily to be the best version of myself.

Being able to grow individually with the help of another is always an amazing thing.

7. He will have confidence, not cockiness.

Confidence looks great on everyone. Major perk.

8. We will be best friends.

Most importantly, a friendship is the foundation built on trust, loyalty, and of course, inside jokes.

9. I will have realized that every moment of my past was meant to happen in order to lead me to him.

I truly believe nothing is a coincidence, everything happens for a reason - big or small.

10. His relationship with God will be a priority.

If he does not fall on his knees in prayer, he does not deserve to fall on one knee with a ring... MIC DROP.

11. My quirks and flaws will only be seen as perfections in his eyes

It takes a special someone to see, understand, and then genuinely love these things.

12. Patience is something that he will learn very quickly when it comes to being with me.

Out of all the virtues, he may have, this is the one that will be tested the most. Sorry in advance.

13. He will never undermine or belittle me or make me feel useless.

I am a strong woman who refuses to feel unworthy, especially when it comes to being in a relationship. I have expectations.

14. We are able to discover something new about each other every day.

We all have pasts that were long lived without the other and being able to make up lost time hearing about it will be a beautiful thing.

15. He will never let me go to sleep without an "I love you" - even after butting heads.

I promise to do the same no matter what.

16. Whether we have the same aspirations or not we will always allow one another to grow as an individual.

Comparing and contrasting our dreams could very likely become a reality with the help of a partner through various parts of life.

17. He will have a sense of humor.

Either it is terrible dad jokes or dry, sarcastic humor or inside jokes, there is no doubt that this is a quality that I find to be the most attractive. If you can make me laugh. You win.

18. The small things in life will no longer feel so small.

Grocery shopping will become a bonding experience.

19. Love songs will somehow quickly be about him

Especially country music, Example A: "Baby I'll take whatever it is you got to give, yeah, I'm calling dibs." -Kelsea Ballerini

20. R-E-S-P-E-C-T will be the seven letters he lives by.

Respect is something that he will carry with him where ever he may go. He will have respect for himself, me, and others, carrying himself with a sense of pride that lifts up the people around him.

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.

Winter break is over, we're all back at our respective colleges, and the first week of classes is underway. This is a little bit how that week tends to go.

The professor starts to go over something more than the syllabus

You get homework assigned on the first day of class

There are multiple group projects on the syllabus

You learn attendance is mandatory and will be taken every class

Professor starts chatting about their personal life and what inspired them to teach this class

Participation is mandatory and you have to play "icebreaker games"

Everybody is going out because its 'syllabus week' but you're laying in bed watching Grey's Anatomy

Looking outside anytime past 8 PM every night of this week

Nobody actually has any idea what's happening this entire week

Syllabus week is over and you realize you actually have to try now...or not

Now it's time to get back into the REAL swing of things. Second semester is really here and we all have to deal with it.

panera bread

Whether you specialized in ringing people up or preparing the food, if you worked at Panera Bread it holds a special place in your heart. Here are some signs that you worked at Panera in high school.

1. You own so many pairs of khaki pants you don’t even know what to do with them

Definitely the worst part about working at Panera was the uniform and having someone cute come in. Please don’t look at me in my hat.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.
