Why Having a Brother is Wonderful

There is never a dull moment.

Why Having a Brother is Wonderful

5) You never have to worry about him sugar coating it

You can count on a lot of people in your life to tell it to you gently, but when you have a brother no matter the age difference, he will always tell you like it is. If he thinks your make up looks more Rocky Horror and not so much rock star, he will tell you. Do you wonder if you he likes the person you are dating? Never fear, he will make it incredibly clear of what he thinks of them. With so many people in the world who are afraid to tell the truth, your brother will never be one of them.

4) He has been the subject to many tea parties/ dress up moments in his life.

If your sister was busy or mad because you hid her Barbie again, you always knew your brother would be down to hang out. The trick might have been to assure him that you guys can play “monster trucks” after you do what you want (even though you were suddenly too tired to play monster trucks when it was time), but he always would hang out with you. You wanted to play tea party? Well, he would be invited. Did not have enough people for “Pretty, Pretty Princess?” Guess what, he had your back. You will never have to play a game alone when you have a brother.

3) You always have someone to tag along with.

Sure, having a sister is pretty awesome. However, if she decides to go away to college, it leaves an empty spot for a wing-man. In steps in your bro, no questions asked. This guy will tag along anywhere you need. From shopping, to food, to even just playing put-put, your brother will always be down to hang out.

2) You will always have someone to defend you.

Your siblings will always be the first and only ones to give you crap in life. They can get away with teasing you, pranking you, etc. However, should someone outside of the sibling circle start messing with you, you can pretty much guarantee that your siblings, especially your brother will have your back. This is especially handy, when you go through break ups. We have all heard the saying “Hell hath no fury, like a woman scorned.” Except in reality, hell hath no fury like a brother protecting his sister. Sorry ladies, I know we are tough, but we have to admit our brothers can come in handy at times.

1)He will be one of the few constants in your life.

There will be many times that you and your brother will argue. Many will be over dibs on the remote, or how he became irritated with you started sharing stories about past girlfriends. However, no matter what your brother will always be there for you. Even if you were not always the nicest, he will always do anything in his power to protect you. Many will come and go in your life, many as lessons learned. However, your brother will always be there for every good, bad, and in between times. So, thank you dear Broja. For always being our support line, best friend, real life doll, and over all partner in crime.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
