When it comes to social networking, our generation has surpassed milestone after milestone, coming up with better ways of entertaining the world. Be it Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, Musically, Tumblr, Twitter, all of these sites have made us more relevant and brought us out more.

But a face-to-face connection matters. Not only that but going to a simple formal or a meeting can be the difference between utmost respect and downright disrespect. Why is that?

For starters, today we are less bold yet more accepting as a generation. Connecting matters when it comes to being accepting. No one nowadays really talks about you liking the LGBT stance or the Immigration stance. Yeah, political talks aside, most people are afraid they might hurt someone's feelings. But, talking about these matters not only helps us understand them better but helps us gain insight into a statistic, something many people seemingly fail to believe in nowadays.

But, that's fine, isn't it?

Not really.

Subjects, be it any, help us understand the world beyond our setting. Having a social life makes us aware of things we might see as minuscule or irrelevant to our lives yet they could impact heavily on a life of someone we know. many of times, the lack of socializing is credited to being a sociopath or having some type of mental disorder. Yet, many don't realize that talking is one of the best therapies there is.

Being social is essential nowadays. So, be social. Be happy.
