During my college search in high school, I was incredibly flustered. I knew I wanted to be a good distance away from home, but I had no idea which direction I wanted to go in. For a while I would get annoyed because I couldn't find a school that met all of my insanely specific criteria. Then one day, I walked into my high school guidance counselor’s office and as I was telling her what I wanted, she asked if I had ever heard of Endicott. I had never heard of this school in my life. I did some research and immediately knew I had to visit this school.
Endicott College, a small liberal arts school located in Beverly, Massachusetts. A fairly small campus, with everything within walking distance. There's enough students to meet someone new every day, but it's also small enough that you can always see a familiar face. Although it's small, the school spirit is incredible. It's always a "Great Day to be a Gull" when everyone is out supporting one of the sports teams. And the school has 3 private beaches, like can it really get any better than that?
I have found my home here at Endicott. I've made amazing friends and found the freedom that I had been craving since high school graduation. It's almost impossible to be bored here. With Boston only a train ride away, Salem right down the street, and the beach in our back yard, you can never go wrong. There are so many opportunities to get involved with the school and to find your passions within all of the amazing programs they have here. One thing Endicott is known for is their internship program, making it a goal to build students resumes and make sure they are prepared for life after graduation.
Endicott's campus is just enough to pull you in. With its beautiful ponds, buildings, stadium, and ocean views, you'll never want to leave. You can have your choice of living in a huge 1900s mansion, a townhouse in the center of everything, or a house on the ocean. Living here is only the start of the amazing experience Endicott has to offer.
Endicott College has become my home. I'm incredibly thankful that I decided to attend this school and for the incredible opportunities that I have been given in my time here.
