It's difficult to find good shows to follow on Netflix. It's a limited site with limited options of shows and movies to watch. However, Gilmore Girls is never a bad choice, in fact, it's always the right show to watch when killing time, doing mind-numbing homework, or really at any time of day.
1.) Everyone is extremely attractive
Lorelai, Rory, Dean, Luke and Jess are all extremely attractive people. Though I'm creepily older than the age of Jess and Dean's characters, and much younger than Luke, I still drool over their adorable and individual senses of style.
2.) Their love for coffee is just as great as any college student's
The Gilmore girls are constantly drinking coffee. I, as a college student who rarely gets enough sleep, run completely on coffee. After a long day, when I've had five or six cups of coffee, the TV show makes me feel much better about my addiction. Lorelai drinks at least six cups of coffee a day, Rory drinks almost as much as her mother, and Emily Gilmore also drinks an excessive amount of coffee, so I'm in good company when watching the show.
3.) Everything eventually works itself out
Whether it's with the mean girl in school, a best friend, or in a relationship, all conflicts work their way out. And, when issues don't work out immediately, it's made clear that there is an amazing reason why things happened the way they did. All unresolved conflicts happen for a reason in this show.
4.) It's fun and simple
The story line is easy to follow, and very fun to watch. It follows two extremely charismatic women and their love and social lives. It's an easy watch, and doesn't take much brain power to follow the plot.
Bottom line: watch Gilmore Girls on Netflix.
