If you need a new T.V. show to start on, I've got the perfect one for you! Whoops was that line too cheesy? So sorry...but it's true! Friends is one of the greatest shows ever created, in my opinion (which should be enough to make you want to go watch it). It's hands down my favorite show to watch when I want to snuggle up in bed with a good show or if I need a show to pick up my mood and make me genuinely laugh! :) There are many reasons for for why Friends is held on such a high pedestal by many people and I'm here to tell you some of them, as well as hopefully enticing you into watching this masterpiece!

1. The comedic timing is on point ALL THE TIME!

2. You will be able to relate to at least one aspect of each of the six main characters' personality.

3. It's educational and will teach you both how to succeed in academics and in life.

4. You'll get to see why people whose names rhyme with shmomicka and shmandler are ultimate #goals (I didn't want to give too much of a spoiler).

5. If you're a foodie, you'll be able to share this passion with Joey and go with him on his constant food journey. You will also learn to never come between a man and his food.

6. Sometimes you just want to be quirky, and Phoebe makes you feel okay with that and even gives you tips on how to achieve your maximum potential quirkitude.

7. If you love Starbucks then you'll love watching them get their coffee on at their usual hang out spot: a cozy and super quirky coffee shop called Central Perk.

8. The show will give you advice on how investing in cat can backfire on you.

9. You'll learn how to keep your house and everything else clean, tidy, and untouchable, thanks to Monica.

10. Chandler, the master of sarcasm, will teach you how to detect sarcasm and use it properly. And you will love him for it.

11. You'll learn that you should NEVER take it upon yourself to deliver a couch you bought to your home. It will end badly.

12. You'll learn about all of the fashion do's and dont's from Rachel, the fashion guru.

13. Ross will teach you to persevere when everything seems to be going SO incredibly wrong (and there are many moments where things go very wrong).

14. You'll see what happens when there's a secret within a friend group. Secrets don't stay secrets for very long...

15. But lastly and most importantly, you'll learn what true friendship means, and how vital it is to have people in your life who love you and want the best for you. Unlike how some of us thought (me included) that a big group of friends is what defined your worth and popularity in middle school/high school, I've realized that a big crowd of friends is not needed in order to feel like you have good and true friends by your side. What gives you those pure warm and fuzzy friendship feels is knowing you have the right group of people around you who will unconditionally make fun of you when you embarrass yourself, but will also be the ones who console you and laugh about it with you afterwards. Take time finding those people, but once you do, live happily and fully with them and don't ever let them go.

10 Signs You Work In A Restaurant

There's always chaos in the restaurant business.

10 Signs You Work In A Restaurant
Brisanis

Working in the restaurant industry is possibly the most fundamentally challenging occupation I have ever experienced when it comes to hospitality and customer service. When you go to a five-star restaurant you expect the time of your life, a two hour getaway, a walk through another time period (rustic Italy, France, Spain, etc), or simply a honeymoon undergo. What you don't see are the behind the scenes scut work: carrying trays, polishing glassware and silverware, kitchen chaos, the list is endless. Now, I'm not saying being a host, server, or bartender is the worst thing in the whole wide world, there are definitely worse things. But the fact of the matter is that it isn't always sunshine and rainbows. In the two years that I have spent in restaurant and customer service, I have spoken my share of expletives, yelled at kitchen staff, and dealt with not-so-happy guests. It isn't easy to keep a bright and shiny smile on your face when all you want to do is choke every person who walks near you. Anyone who has spent even two weeks working in a restaurant understands the rigor and stress that comes with it. Restaurant culture is a tiny world in and of itself that operates on its own principles and creates its own society. It even has its own language. The sayings "runner", "corner", and "on a bus" wouldn't make sense to anyone otherwise. My mother and I both work in a restaurant and the best advice I can give someone going out to eat is to treat us like people. Yes...believe it or not we are people, people. Say "please" and "thank you", or stack your cleared plates before a busser gets to the table. Trust me, the gesture goes a lot farther than you may think.

So, if you work in a restaurant, you can relate with the following points. If not, check out how the brain of a restaurant service (or any customer service) worker actually works. See if you can identify any crazy weird habits your friends have a tendency to partake in.

One of the scariest things we will ever face in our life is going to college. Many of us move away to a new town, join new organizations, and make new friends. We are expected to study, have a social life, relationships, maybe work, and be healthy. It seems pretty easy to do, and in high school all we wanted to do was graduate and move on to this next chapter of our lives. If you are in high school, here are some things that you can learn from before you get to college. If you have already been through your freshman year of college, hopefully you can relate to the things I have learned in college.
