By its very definition, forgiveness is the act of pardoning of a wrongdoing, or coming to terms with what went wrong and choosing to move on. Forgiveness is no walk in the park. It hurts, it's unfair and it takes so much strength. It would make life so much easier if no one had the capacity to love or care for others, but we all do in some shape or form. Being able to forgive is the epitome of what makes a human being so unbelievably strong in wanting to give another person solace, and peace that they made a mistake.

Feeling the pain is essential, but when you can learn to forgive, that feeling is almost sublime, because you can truly release the hurt that has been thrust into your life. With forgiveness, you have the power to show how truly brave you are. Being able to forgive by no means makes you weak, it gives you the chance to understand perspectives even if you were done wrong. It also gives you the chance to let the other person heal. You being the understanding person you are, helps shape them into a better person.

Forgiveness can heal so many broken hearts. What you may of thought was gone and destroyed can be reborn. Also, as a human being it is important to remember that harboring bitterness and anger will only engulf you and take over your life. Choosing not to forgive isn't wrong either, however, it's how you choose to move on with your own life, but it is OK. Don't remain stuck in your past, move forward, whether you do forgive or don't forgive someone.

When forgiving, you learn. Time is the best teacher, and every mistake teaches us a lesson. Forgive those, but don't forget the lesson you have learned. Most importantly, forgive yourself. You should always learn to forgive yourself over mistakes you have done. Accept those mistakes, forgive yourself, learn from them, go on with life. Being able to forgive people can be a gift, and also a curse. There needs to be a separation between truly understanding and forgiving because you feel that you need to. At the end of the day, you need to content with yourself, and do what'll help you heal.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
