Why I Forever Will Be A Kid At Heart

Graduating college and starting the real world gives a whole new meaning to the phrase "finding yourself." What I have found to be most prominent, is that I exhibit traits and signs that prove to me I will always be a kid at heart. Even after my "big girl" job is over at the end of the day, I still feel the need to go home and cuddle with my puppy in bed with SpongeBob Squarepants on the television. Here are eleven other reasons why I found that I'll be a child forever.

1. I will never get rid of my blankie.

2. I crave suckers that have gum in the center.

3. I use the word tummy.

4. I cry when I'm overtired.

5. I still wish there was a Santa.

6. If Trick-or-Treating was socially acceptable for any age, I would go every year.

7. I love Saturday morning cartoons.

8. I throw a fit if my hot chocolate doesn't come with little marshmallows.

9. I need a hug. All the time.

10. Bubbles make me happy.

11. I get along with kids more than I do adults.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

It's not all morning coffees and singing along to the radio.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.
