Time to state that you are wrong.

Your love for Alabama football shouldn't end after your freshman year. If anything, it gets better. It is mind-blowing that a student can find Bama games annoying and boring.

As for choosing UA, 90% of the students did not attend the University of Alabama for the football program alone. Being apart of a University that has one of the best football teams in the country is simply a bonus. The University of Alabama is more than an amazing football team or a "party school," it's a great school full of numerous scholarships and great opportunities within all the colleges.

Let me explain why you should still be interested in attending Alabama football games.

1. We win... Every! Single! Same!

The joy of being amazing at football is having stress free games. This past Ole Miss game was the most fun I've had at a football game — because we were winning. It is always exciting to walk away from the stadium with a W.

Standing by Coach Saban, I'm sure that if our football team can play all four quarters, you can take your heels off and stay for four quarters. #RespectForSaban

2. The main "event" is the game.

The students get excited about game days because IT'S GAME DAY. How a student chooses to celebrate the beginning or end of a victory is up to that person.

College campuses are riddled with drunk frat guys everywhere, not just at the game. Speaking as a person who does not drink, I can assure you the point of Saturdays is the actual game.

Game day outfits are a big deal, you have to plan your outfit around standing for 4 hours. But, if you are so worried about your game day outfit, be more cautious about who you sit around.

3. What is wrong with taking a picture???

I'm sorry but if you don't want to take someone's picture just say no. No one is forcing you to. Also, I hardly see people taking pictures unless it is before/after the game, or during a timeout. In today's society, most people take pictures to remember the FUN times they had.

Getting the right picture during any event is a part of today's culture.

4. Over half the girls in the stadium do understand football.

Just because someone doesn't understand it doesn't mean they can't enjoy the game.

Not every single girl has to know the all the plays when it comes to football. It is not a crime for people to attend sporting events that they know little about, because they want to be a part of the school spirit.

Roll Tide.

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

Daydreaming

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Daydreams, the savior of our life in class. Every type of student in the classroom does it at least once, but most cases it is an everyday event, especially in that boring class -- you know the one. But what are we thinking while we are daydreaming?

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.
