The early 2000's are over and so is the flared jean.

4 Reasons Flared Jeans Should Not Come Back

Although they've mercifully been out of style for a few years, flared jeans are reemerging on the runway and making their way back into mainstream fashion. Here are some reasons why this is one trend that doesn't need to flare up again.

1. They don’t flatter anyone.

Yes, some people might look good in flares, but they probably look good in spite of them rather than because of them. (And they'd probably look significantly better in skinny jeans).

2. Awkward lengths.

If you’re short, flares only make you look shorter. If you’re tall, then you have to STRUGGLE to find a pair that is actually long enough. Cropped skinny jeans look alright. Cropped flared jeans are truly cringe-worthy.

3. Selecting shoes.

How are you supposed to wear them with boots? Are you going to try to tuck all of that fabric in there? Fine, live your life. While you struggle, I will neatly tuck my tapered jeans into my boots with ease.

The only thing even worse than flares? Boot cut. This is just a no. The jean does not look right outside of the boot. What are you doing? Why?

Also, what shoes do flares look good with, anyway? Certainly not boots and not tennis shoes or ballet flats either. Maybe some heels if you pair them just right. Maybe.

4. Too much fabric.

OK, really, what do you even do with all that extra room around your legs? Doesn’t that swooshy sound bother you when you walk? Aren’t your legs cold? Flared jeans are like skirts for your shins. Why are they a thing?

Ultimately, my opinion doesn’t really matter. I am not qualified to be the fashion police. Rock those swooshy shin-skirts if that’s what you really want to do. The fashion world saw a few good years without them. Perhaps soon order will be restored and flares will swoosh back out of fashion.

Tamatoa created a liar filled with shiny things simply for the purpose of tricking fish to enter and become his food. He too experiences a lesson in how easy it is to be tricked by shiny things when Moana distracts him by covering herself in glowing algae so Maui can grab his hook.

Epic Creation Myths: Norse Origins Unveiled

What happened in the beginning, and how the heavens were set in motion.

The Norse Creation Myth

Now, I have the everlasting joy of explaining the Norse creation myth. To be honest, it can be a bit kooky, so talking about it is always fun. The entire cosmos is included in this creation myth, not just the earth but the sun and the moon as well. This will be a short retelling, a summary of the creation myth, somewhat like I did with Hermod's ride to Hel.
