Why Fall is The Best Season

Since summer is over and school is starting, it's time to start getting ready for fall. Fall is personally my favorite season. I mean every season has their perks but I love the crisp air in the morning, the leaves falling and turning golden yellow and bright orange, the smell of apples and pumpkins, and pumpkin spiced EVERYTHING. Fall is the perfect time to break out the light jackets and cute boots. If everyday was fall I would be the happiest girl in the world.

1. Dunkin' Donuts Pumpkin Muffins

Say thank you to the great employees at DD for making their amazing muffins. They have the perfect amount of spice and sweetness. They are moist and they taste soooooooo good!

2. Autumn Activities

Apple picking, pumpkin picking, corn mazes, fall festivals! DO I HAVE TO GO ON?!

3. FOOTBALL!!!

So, I've loved football since I was a little girl. I am a die-hard NY Giants fan. I love sitting on the couch on sundays screaming at the TV with my brothers like a loonatic

4. TV Shows Are Back On

Shows like Grey's Anatomy, Chicago PD, and Arrow come back on. That means cozy nights on the couch on weekdays! Also means you can stop watching reruns on Netflix

5. Less Humidity

PRAISE THE HAIR LORDS! I honestly hate humidity. I spend 40+ minutes trying to tame my lion mane and once I step outside my hair looks like I spend years in the Amazon. It turns into a curly mess. Good thing is I kinda look Simba.

6. Crisp Walks Around NYC

I always talk about NYC.. Well because it's my absolute favorite place. There are also so many good events going on during the fall season. There's a lot of festivals.

7. Fall Fashion

I love love, love scarfs, boots, wearing cute dresses with tights underneath. Forever 21 and H&M by far have the best fall clothes. I recently just went shopping and I think I spent like a billion dollars on jackets, boots, hats, you name it.

8. Leaf Piles

I don't care how old I get, I will always love jumping in leaf piles. I honestly don't know why I love it so much, I guess I just love the crunching of the leaves.

9. The Constant Smell Of Fireplaces

Close your eyes. Think about the smell of a fireplace on a cool, crisp night. Smells good, right? To me, it smells like memories to be honest. When I think of fireplaces, I imagine a family/friends gathered around.

10. Halloween

Halloween is my favorite holiday in the whole wide world. I love skulls and ghosts. You also get to be whoever you want and get free candy. What's better than that?

11. Thanksgiving

Another holiday that's amazing. You eat 'till you pass out, and you see family you haven't seen all year. Down side about this holiday, you get embarassed by your Uncle Bobby who had a little too much to drink.

The Battle Between College And My Mental Health

College isn't easy, and I'm afraid I'm not going to make it at the rate my mental health is going.

Everyone tells you that college is hard, but they fail to explain why. Sure, classes are hard. Math sucks, and political science can be so boring. But that's not even what's killing me about college. What's killing me about college is my deterioating mental health.

As a college student, I feel as if people don't understand just how exhausted I, and fellow college students are. We have so many things going on, all the time, and sometimes it's hard to explain to people how we feel. Personally...I'm tired. I'm sad. And I'm struggling every single day with my emotions. But the thing is, it hasn't always been this way. I haven't always hated school, so why am I feeling like this now?
