It should be enjoyed by everyone.

Now you may disagree with me on this, but fall just so happens to be the best season out of the four. I know what you're thinking, who doesn't like the subzero temperatures and icy roads of winter? Or the constant raining and wet drives of spring? Trust me, I get it (I really don't because I'm being sarcastic and you're crazy). So in honor of fall finally being here, I will explain just why fall is in fact the best season of all.

1. Halloween

This is the big jackpot of why fall is the best season. Halloween makes us flashback to some of the best times of our life, like trick or treating or throwing up from eating so much candy. Halloween is one of the best holidays because it doesn't matter how old you are, it brings the kid out in all of us. It gives us an excuse to watch "Halloweentown" or "Hocus Pocus." Halloween let's us unleash the innocence of being a child and allows us to regress for just one night. I put a spell on you and now you're mine... Or something like that.

2. The Fall Atmosphere

The orange leaves, the crisp air and the chance to comfortably wear jeans and a T-shirt? What's not to love. Walking outside on a fall morning is relaxing by itself and it also proves to be perfect campfire weather as well.

3. Football

Now, if you're a wife or a girlfriend, this is might just be your least favorite thing about fall. For men however, football is the reason we can get through the week. There is nothing more relaxing then ordering a pizza, filling your cup with some Mountain Dew, and kicking back and watching your favorite teams win. For us guys, football is a way to release the stress of the work/school week, and have a day with the guys.

4. Haunted Houses/Corn Mazes

These are the fun activities that can only happen during the time of the fall season. Do you remember gathering your group of middle school friends and getting dropped off at your local corn maze? Or going with your crush to a haunted house just so you could hold onto their hand? Yeah, so do I. That's why getting lost in a corn maze was worth it or getting scared in front of your crush at a haunted house run by high schooler's was okay, it was fall and it only happened once a year.

5. Apple Orchards

Last but not least, and probably the best point of all, is apple orchards. Nothing is better than taking that first bite into the warm inside of an apple fritter or taking that golden sip of hot apple cider. The apple orchard is a place we've all been going since we were kids, and we keep coming back. We enjoy the food, drinks, and everything about the apple orchard represents about fall.

Now, fall might not be your favorite season, but there is no doubt that fall brings out the best in people. Whether that be your inner child or the outdoorsman that hikes through the colored trees. Fall is a grand season and lets us enjoy the festivities that I know it'll bring.

Being a part of any organization undoubtedly comes with the pitfalls of being grouped into negative stereotypes, and sororities are certainly no exception. Here are the top few things, that I find at least, are some of the most irritating misconceptions that find their way into numerous conversations...

Well all those fundraisers and marketing should would be a waste then wouldn't they?

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.
