Why Everyone Should Love Sia
Scoopnest

Sia has been performing and writing songs for a long time but most of her success has happened over recent years. Not only success in the music industry but health wise as well. For those of you who aren't familiar with Sia (or so you think, her songs have been on the radio), she is the artist who covers her face during performances and belts out ridiculously amazing notes.

Exhibit A:

Also can we talk about the fact that she has made other people's dreams come true!? Like Maddie Ziegler, who is known for her work on Dance Moms but is basically Sia's personal performer. She has made a living out doing what she loves, all because someone else believed in the art and importance of dance. Sia simply just wants you to listen to the music and see the story come to life. She wants you understand the concept behind each line.

Don't get lost in the glitz and the glam, Sia puts on a show unlike others. She doesn't have to be over the top with the lights and the animation in the background (which don't get me wrong, I love that as well, different artists different stage presence) but yet you leave with a different outlook on life or how you perceive life to be. Her songs are about depression, life and dark moments. Which we can all relate to, to some extent.

Take a moment to listen to her music and really just listen. You don't always need to see the artist, to really hear the music. It's a different outlook that'll change how you view artists.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.
