Summer sounds like the best thing while school is in session. You have tons of free time to spend with your friends. You don't have to get up early in the morning. It is finally warm outside. But then the second week comes. You have basically done everything already. Boredom sets in. Most of your time is spent thinking of something to do. You could find another series to binge on Netflix, but you have already searched and nothing sounds interesting. You think that by the time school starts, you will have already died of boredom.
Summer camp is the perfect solution. It is basically someone else coming up with things for you to do. With and without your friends. When you first get there, it can be kind of intimidating. You don't know many people, if any, and you are worried about who you will become best friends with. You meet some people and decide to stick with them. Your days are jam packed with activities and good food. By the time camp ends, you have made numerous new friends and you already can't wait for next summer. Everyone needs the experience of summer camp under their belt. Even though it can seem scary at first, you will make some of the best friends you will ever have. You may not talk every day, but they are there for you no matter what the time of day. It also keeps you busy so you won't have to worry about being bored. It may seem like a small thing, but when you look back, you will be so glad that you made the decision to go.
