The Scenery.
Point pleasant sunset.
For those looking for a wonderful sunset and marvelous scenery, point pleasant is the place to go. Nestled in a secure neighborhood, there's so much it has to offer. Coffee shops, bars, Boardwalk restaurants, you name it- Point Pleasant has it.
The entertainment

From the Music festivals, to the bars, to the coffee shops, boardwalk performers and games, South jersey beaches sure have a way of making you never want to leave. It's truly a tourist's dream and a photographer's playground.
Less traffic
Unlike the north, South jersey is free flowing and easy to navigate.
GiphyThe reason why people keep coming back to the shore is.....because they can, with ease. The Garden state parkway heading south is always a smooth ride, making it easier for people to make it to the beach in less than 45 minutes* (if coming from the surrounding Newark area). Once you get to south jersey, places like Belmar and Asbury park have a low amount of traffic thus, gives you more time to enjoy the area before you leave.
The Weather ofcourse
The weather in Asbury park was just amazing that day.

This is pretty much a no-brainer but the weather in south jersey is a big factor on why people travel from so far to have fun at the beach. Look at it this way, would you rather stay in the house during this summer heat or go to the beach (that's less than 45 minutes away)to take full advantage of the weather? I think most would choose the latter. These beaches generate millions in revenue every summer according to statistics and its no wonder why.
Do you think the jersey shore has the best beaches? or does the north have something better to offer? Let me know, you can email me at Mitchapondi723@gmail.com for suggestions.
