Over the course of nine seasons and 187 episodes, we have grown to love Nathan Scott. Girls everywhere fell in love episode by episode with the man that gave unrealistic expectations of men. However, they aren’t completely unrealistic. I believe that every woman gets her own Nathan Scott. In one way or another the man that you marry gives you all the things Nathan gave Haley and really makes those expectations real. The dynamics between the characters of the show always seemed to be completely authentic despite some of the unrealistic situations they may be put in. One Tree Hill made you want to be Brooke Davis`s best friend, Peyton Sawyer`s business partner, a chapter in Lucas Scott`s book and completely jealous of Haley James Scott for having the privilege of calling Nathan her husband.

When we first met Nathan, he was a self-consumed, arrogant, jock who didn’t care about anyone but himself and his basketball career. Even though the reason he met Haley was to originally get under Lucas`s skin, we are happy he did. Haley changed him for the better and made him into the man that we see throughout the series. Once he started dating Haley he became more loving and devoted. He became the ideal boyfriend to the ideal husband. Watching how he treated Haley made us all weak at the knees.

All anyone wanted was a man like Nathan. Someone who had such an undying love for his girl. He showed more love for her than anything, she became his whole world. Always and forever, he promised. He was so sure of their love when others, even Haley wasn’t. Nathan never gave up, even when Haley left him to go on tour. He waited for her because he was that devoted to her. They were married at 17 years old, but Nathan knew how strong their love for each other really was. They beat the odds of getting married young and went on to create a beautiful family.

Nathan wasn’t just an amazing husband but he was an even more amazing Dad. Nathan never wanted to be the kind of Dad his Dad was. So he made every effort he could to be a better father and he was. Just like any parent, Nathan had his ups and downs with parenting but he tried his best and that’s all that counts. Nathan became this superhero figure and role model for his son Jamie. From showing him how to stand up to bullies, even if it meant wearing a cape. To shooting around at the River Court or learning to dance at home. Nathan showed strength and willpower to not only us but to Jamie as well. He taught him that life isn’t just sunshine and rainbows, that times do get rough.

Nathan is every girls dream guy, an example that guys should live up to. He is loyal, a good husband, an even better father and treats Haley the way a girl should be treated. He is able to be trusted, the multiple times he was framed Haley stood by his side and trusted his word over others. He does everything in his power to protect the people he loves. Like jumping in front of the school shooter to protect Haley. He was never in the school that day, ran into the locked down school to protect her because he knew she was in there. Every girl should have a man that never forgets how much he loves her, like Nathan never did. Nathan made us believe in unconditional true love. Always and Forever.

College isn't easy, and I'm afraid I'm not going to make it at the rate my mental health is going.

Everyone tells you that college is hard, but they fail to explain why. Sure, classes are hard. Math sucks, and political science can be so boring. But that's not even what's killing me about college. What's killing me about college is my deterioating mental health.

As a college student, I feel as if people don't understand just how exhausted I, and fellow college students are. We have so many things going on, all the time, and sometimes it's hard to explain to people how we feel. Personally...I'm tired. I'm sad. And I'm struggling every single day with my emotions. But the thing is, it hasn't always been this way. I haven't always hated school, so why am I feeling like this now?
